Our Summer Seasonal collection centres around gatherings and opportunities to cook lots of delicious food for your loved ones to laugh, cry and bond over. For The Fermentation Station our go to sharing food is Taco's, plates and plates of this beautiful Central American food, so we had to create a seasonal ferment fitting for our table.  

Our Curtido is a traditional ferment, typical in Salvadoran cuisine and that of other Central American countries. Similar to other Lacto-Ferments, such as Sauerkraut, it's an El Salvadoran slaw made primarily from fermented red cabbage. Blended with Serrano chillies, garlic and herbaceous Oregano, this ferment is perfect topping taco's or adding crunch to hummus.
